12:00PM 9:00PM Soirée for Surgery Sue   Sue Wakefield has touched so many lives- she’s known from working in the OR department at CMH, and being a wonderful friend, mother, and Nanny. Her smile is infectious and her loving, yet no-nonsense advice has been appreciated by countless people she knows. Sadly, Sue is currently fighting for her life, having recently been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma). This cancer is incredibly rare, and incredibly aggressive- just three weeks ago, Sue was “fine.” It’s heartbreaking to see such a strong lady have to fight like this, but she IS, and her loved ones are so proud. Sue’s family members are asking for assistance with medical expenses and the costs associated with keeping her home and comfortable- they are traveling to Binghamton for treatment weekly, and accommodations are required in Sue’s home in order to keep her there, for as long as possible. Any donation offered will be greatly appreciated, by Sue and her family. Please help this beautiful woman who has helped so many.Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1222Sunday November 18th 12-914 E Main StNorwich, New York 13815There will be food, bake sale, Chines Auction, Photo Booth, face painting, the band Sundown, 50/50 Raffle, and lots of fun!
