I Shot Santa was created in October of 2023 and released digitally on December 01st, 2023 by Jeffrey Davis. It’s a tale of a boy’s dream/nightmare about shooting Santa Claus with a BB gun that he found under the tree one Christmas Eve, while mommy and daddy thought he was fast asleep. The song brings to life many characters like elves, the gingerbread man, and the tooth fairy. Because no good deed goes unpunished, the boy ends up sentenced to labor at the toy factory, when momma says good morning it’s Christmas day, he wakes up and can’t believe it’s all just a dream. So please listen to it and let your mind wander as you take a magical sleigh ride through the trial of the century.

One of the few songs I have written that is completely fantasy. With other songs, I have woven truth with fantasy to evoke a specific feeling. However, with I Shot Santa it is entirely fiction, no elves, or the Big Guy himself were injured in the making of this fun catchy wise tale. “
